Google Chrome has been blocking Nmap downloads all day because their broken "Safe Browsing" system suddenly labeled a 10-year-old version of our Ncat software as a threat. We will get this resolved with Google, but wanted to let you know that your Nmap downloads are still safe!pic.twitter.com/5iR7a07wzF

Last week Google Chrome wrongfully blocked a 24-year-old tarball of L0phtcrack source code from our historical archives as "malware". That one has been fixed, but it's still frustrating when Big Tech companies block content so carelessly.

Fixed! Thanks for the support, everyone! Apparently Tweeting works much faster than Google's convoluted review process: https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=https:%2F%2Fnmap.org%2F&hl=en …

Why would a gui browser pull this kind of crap? It's in almost every major linux repo. So strange.

Another prove that chrome is not suitable for pentesters. (Beside leaking data when browsing .lan and forwarding it to Google...) #chromesucks

Is there an alternative to this new Internet Explorer? All browsers seem to suck :(
