    Oliver was always holding my hand, always beside me. Hospital notes read that I made Oliver a lot worse, not only mother blame but trying to destroy a very close loving mother son relationship. They didn't like me stopping them from abusing Oliver.

    Me too. When my 14 yr old son went into hospital he would cuddle me and hold my hand when I visited. He was scared. Staff observed and suggested our relationship was 'inappropriate'. What kind of disgusting mind makes that assumption when they see a scared boy cuddling his mum???

    Ur not alone. On one the few occasions I could hug Beth in St Andrews staff reported in exactly the same way. Beth hadnt been hugged for weeks so her 'Squeezy Hug' was deemed 'inappropriate' But locking her away afterwards was 'appropriate' Social workers wrote to me about it
