@SusanWojcicki I've had a Google mini for an year and previously could cast to it from YouTube. Why do I need a YouTube music subscription to do the same thing now? That's complete BS! I've been a big Google fan but this change is making me reconsider.

Mind if we jump in? Since Google mini doesn't have a screen, only music can be cast to it. Here's an article which gives you more info on the supported apps and partners on Google Home: https://goo.gl/CjdgdN . Hope this clarifies.

That's inaccurate because as recent as a month ago, I was able to cast from YouTube app to my mini. I've been doing that for over an year. I know it worked. Now I can't cast content from a Google service to a Google device, how ridiculous is that?

The only thing that needs to happen here is you need to stop artificially limiting content that can be cast to the Google mini. It's a ridiculous policy and needs to be scrapped immediately.
