Why do they keep attacking supporters?
-
-
-
Right!!!!!!
-
Referring to some Democrats as establishment Democrats is just as insulting and alienating- what does it say or imply about the people who support and vote for them?
-
Criticizing the candiates is a necessary part of the process
-
Except when its Bernie, lol.
-
Buttigieg was making a comparison about the voters. We are saying that we are nothing like Trump voters. You can criticize Sanders all you like but the voters of Trump and Sanders's are not similar in points of view. That's why we don't like this comparison.
-
The overlap between Trump and Sanders supporters has been well documented.

Really? Where?

“26% of current Bernie Sanders supporters said that they would rather vote for President Donald Trump over Senator Elizabeth Warren, if that were the eventual 2020 matchup.” —Forbes
@PeteButtigieg is right about this. -
12.5% of Liz supps would vote Trump if Liz is the nominee, according to the exact same poll! So it's a nonsense poll and a poor analysis by a center-right publication:pic.twitter.com/VnHorbofUh

He’s just talking about the populist appeal they both have, though with a different focus, of course. He’s not maligning Bernie nor his supporters. all this, in my view, misplaced vitriol is so counter-productive.
-
Headlines are usually misleading and some people don’t bother to read or check before reacting.
-
He said "The anger in people could lead them to vote for somebody like Bernie or somebody like Trump, and that's where we are"
-
With that attack, I could see him losing some supporters of his, who for whatever reason had Bernie as second choice. I could also see him gaining amongst the Hillary hard core base, if there is still such a thing. Only time will tell

Well, 20% did say they would vote for trump over the Dem, so, he does have a point.
-
That's not true, it's just that center-right publication Forbes extrapolated data from a minuscule sample in an unreliable poll and made headlines out of it In the same poll, 12.5% of EW supps would vote Trump if she's the nom—and yes, the rest of the data is equally incoherent:pic.twitter.com/vogw9PEA4S

The polling group is
@RealClearNews, they don't appear to be center right. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/RealClearPolitics … -
https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaeldurkheimer/2019/04/17/5-weird-items-in-the-new-bernie-buttigieg-poll/#7a98e6e07ddd … It was an Emerson poll. Rcp has a polling aggregate.
