This race is about one thing—and one thing only—the working people of Ohio. I’m running to be their voice for change. That’s it and that’s all.

53 yrs ago, Eileen & I were married. We celebrated 51 of them together w/ our growing family. Memories of her & the values she taught & lived remain. Most of all she was passionate about opposing injustice wherever it existed. She’d say “why aren’t we doing something abt this?”

Giving up is easy. But nothing good ever comes without a struggle. Today, we stand up, dust ourselves off, and get back in the ring. We pick up where we left off on this justice journey and continue to fight for human dignity, prosperity, and an America as good as its promise.

  8. We knew this would be an uphill battle from the moment we started this campaign. While we didn’t cross the river, we inspired thousands to dream bigger and expect more. We couldn’t overcome the influence of dark money, but we left our mark on OH11 and this nation.

I’m running for Congress because: ❕Black Lives Matter ✊🏾 ❗️Healthcare is a human right ❕The climate crisis is existential ❗️Private prisons shouldn’t exist ❕Everyone deserves a living wage The people of OH-11 deserve a government that recognizes their dignity and potential.

BIG: CDC is adopting an eviction moratorium for the vast majority of the population. Thank you to everyone who kept a spotlight on this—particularly who understands what it’s like to lose your home and turned passion into action.

Proud to be running a campaign focused on the issues that matter to working people. Ohio voters know too well that the politics of yesterday are incapable of delivering the change we need. That’s why we’re putting forth the bold solutions OH-11 deserves.

Change only happens when dedicated leaders have the courage to bump up against the status quo and put the interest of people above all else. This is a appreciation post. Love you, sister 💜

We've got billionaire-funded Super PACs fighting tooth and nail to stand in our way. They're spending millions to buy this election. We need real campaign finance reform in this country—but until then, let's show them that organized people work harder than Dark Money.

I know you're tired. I am too. Tired of a broken healthcare system. Tired of food lines. Tired of evictions. Tired of a planet dying for greed. The road to justice is long, but I'm asking you to go a little further. Let’s lean on each other and make it to the ballot box.

Voting is one of our most cherished rights. Corporate interests are counting on turnout to be low, but voters have the opportunity to make history and send someone to Congress that will take them on. Get out today and vote before 7:30pm.

Why is it that drug companies, insurance companies, fossil fuel executives, Wall Street and people who supported Donald Trump are pouring millions into my opponent's campaign? They know when I'm elected, I'm going to take them on in our fight for justice.
