as someone who writes a compiler for a day job, lack of rustc documentation has probably been the single worst obstacle to hacking on it for me. I would surely write more rustc patches if a 10-minute patch didn't involve spending 30 minutes figuring out how to write and run tests

Ugh I had to do this recently and I agree. I'm usually able to work with the compiler easily but I wanted to do something different with the (new) build system and it took way too long to figure out.

We're looking for new chat sollutions? I really hope that either (a) whatever is found works with screen readers or (b) Mozilla uses that they're Mozilla to make it work with screen readers.
