      @samth I believe objects with slots are "sealed" (in the js sense)

      @nikomatsakis @samth yes, they are. Slots are a mess though, almost never what one wants. (and worse on the implementation level)

          @nikomatsakis if you have more specific questions let me know. Also, a lot of the tricks VMs play around maps aren't documented, AFAIK
