This is probably the biggest ergonomic improvement I've seen for Rust. Having tried it on nightly, I can't wait to see this land in stable/Rust 2018.

One confusion. When you say performance of NLL checker, it means build times are impacted (which is not noticeable now) rather than program execution speed right? (Except Refcell/Rc maybe?)
