@nikomatsakis While writing a HashMap in a live-stream today, I came across a bad (?) borrowck error that NLL doesn't fix. I "fixed" it with some unsafe https://github.com/jonhoo/rust-basic-hashmap/commit/0c99333056fe6cdb90c051ad3999d35ea9948b0e#diff-b4aea3e418ccdb71239b96952d9cddb6R101 …, but don't think it should be needed?
I believe this is because NLL on master doesn't take into account "position". The plan is to start with that and then expand to the full "Polonius" algorithm that I blogged about recently, at which point this example should work.
