🔥 Awesome stream with yesterday on ! Kitze: ⚡️ "I love everything about Blitz" ⚡️ "I hope that this is the future — people are going to start solving actual problems instead of solving 'how these 5 layers can work together'" Watch:

Great article explaining how to resolve the N+1 issue in GraphQL by leveraging the `info` object from the resolvers to make efficient database calls using ! 🚀

If client gets better and better at making efficient db calls behind the scenes this could be life-changing for a lot of implementations out there. (Currently will batch `findOne` calls for you)

For all my coding problems, I typically post on SO *before* I start my own research. This helps me understand the problem much better! Only *then* I start my own research. Now it's basically a race between me and other SO users who can solve the stated problem first 🏎

Been incorporating Prisma 2.0 into a new project. Absolutely love it, especially the convenience of nested writes🤟

Played with BNF grammars and JFlex during the past week or so, to build "language support" for 2 schema files in and other IDEs 🙂 Still a work in progress, but syntax highlighting is getting there!

There's no perfect abstraction™️, and you will need to drop down to raw SQL eventually for certain use cases. But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't use an abstraction that makes your life easier in the vast majority of cases.

In the end, it's all about reaching your goals 🤷‍♀️ And your goal is typically not to write great SQL queries, but to build an application that provides value to users, and you should choose the tools that can help you with that! ◭
