With all the talk about mistreatment of journalists, we should not forget about Nicaragua. The Ortega dictatorship is destroying what’s left of the free press. It’s a disaster for freedom in our hemisphere.

Thank you Ambassador Haley () for your friendship, your courage and your leadership over the past two years. In the great tradition of Jeane Kirkpatrick and Pat Moynihan, you have restored moral clarity to America’s role at the UN. Best of luck in the future!

I very much admire those that have taken jobs and done their best. I don’t think all the good ones are gone but those that have left have largely refrained from issuing broadsides against Trump’s character and fitness to serve. Good for them. Nikki Haley is a good example.

I had the pleasure to meet in Jerusalem & present letters from many 1000s of people thanking her for supporting Israel. As she leaves the UN, she will continue to loom large on the world stage. Due to State Dept rules her Twitter followers get deleted so refollow her!
