Shortly after entering Congress, I attended a lunch w/wounded servicemembers. While speaking w/several female soldiers, I asked if the issue of sexual assault was as widespread& deep-rooted as I'd heard in one of the 1st Military Personnel subcommittee hearings that I attended.

I was a sexual assault prevention and response victim advocate in the navy for years and the fact elected officials like you think women can only be victims and men can only be predators is very disturbing. You should do some research before tweeting out nonsense.

Hi Franky, she *did* mention servicemen in her thread. I'd also recommend checking out the documentary Invisible War (which the Congresswoman is in) that both male and female survivors. You know, since you're into people doing some research.
