President Trump’s decision to withdraw from the #IranDeal – despite his aides’ and the international community’s repeated warnings not to – threatens the safety and security of millions, isolates the United States, and weakens our alliances and credibility on the world stage.

While not perfect, the deal was hard-won after years of intense negotiations with a hard-line adversary in order to prevent Iran from coming any closer to acquiring the materials to build a nuclear weapon. The consequences of walking away from this deal cannot be underestimated.

The #IranDeal is a collective international agreement that saw the United States along with China, Russia, France, the U.K.,+Germany put aside their differences in order to address a shared+singular goal: blocking Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

Thankfully, because of your calls and your activism (over 99% of calls to my office were opposed to #Trumpcare at the time), the Affordable Care Act is still the law of the land.

Today marks one year since the @HouseGOP forced a vote on #Trumpcare, a plan that would have ripped away healthcare from millions, raised premiums, and cut care for children, seniors, veterans, and those with pre-existing conditions.

Although the military has made progress over the years in confronting this egregious crime, the sad reality is we continue to hear heartbreaking firsthand accounts of continued assaults from both women and men in uniform. There is work yet to be done.
