  1. I cannot beLIEVE Josephine Baker did us like this. In all serious, I get the point, and that these bill-style posters are common. I guess the lettering, font, colour pallettes, to my untrained eye, looked veeeery similar.

  10. Anyway, Nesrine Malik’s book WE NEED NEW STORIES is a well argued book about the need to interrogate the narrative in Britain and how we can do it. I recommend it.

  16. I hate the use of the word courage here. Courageous is taking an unambiguous stand against how the conservatives/UKIP/the far right have weaponised ‘legitimate concerns’ to spin a toxic narrative around immigration.
