So very sad to hear about Scott Walker.... truly one of the greats.. so unique and a real artist. On my way to work on the first day of recording OK Computer I passed him riding his bike on Chiswick High Street.. and when I got to the studio Thom was holding a copy of Scott 4..

When I worked at RAK studios I was lucky enough to spend a few days in the studio with him during the recording of the Tilt album.. I so grateful for that.. what a legend.

I've always thought that there are certain parallels between The Tourist in Ok Computer and The Rhymes of Goodbye in Scott4. Both are closing songs, have similar meter/rhythm/pattern, share a feeling of closure & some sort of sad yet triumphant vibe in their respective choruses.
