    I am really enjoying my first year teaching at Humber. Thanks to everyone there who have been so supportive! Great place to work

    Creative Writing alumna, Author & Humber prof found a unique coincidence when a fictional project in her Strategic Media Writing class became a rare real-life event. It all surrounded an extremely a rare corpse flower about to bloom. Read more:

    I had the most fun time last night with the Hamilton Children's Choir being parrots, pirates and dolphins as a soundscape for The Pirate's Bed (virtually!). What great kids! Thanks for having me visit. Can't wait for their spring concert.

    Racism doesn't exist only as overt acts of hate, it manifests under the surface as a lifetime of accepting your own erasure as the default and fighting against it. Grateful to have been given opportunities to share my work, glad people might be starting to listen.
