Outrageous speech by Dep. AG Rosen full of outrageous lies and attacks on duly elected progressive prosecutors. Thanks to for this thoughtful thread debunking the lies.

Miguel was locked up on $1500 bail for a suspended license. Lost job. Suffered horrors of Rikers. Once out couldn’t find another job, afford rent. Had to move out of NY w/ his family. Thanks to bail changes in 2020, this won’t ever happen to someone again.

You can have prosecution that burdens the working class with bail for minor offenses, or one that actually prioritizes wage theft, and protects working people.

It’s kind of amazing how far left is pushing this entire race. All the centrists have to pretend they’re him.

2/2 In the richest country in the world we find money to take care of our privileged but close up shop when we need to take care of our poor, sick and people of color. This is cruel and doesn’t make our communities safe.

What the SFDA's race was, and was not, about. A thread. So for some people, there's the horse-race analysis of elections. This can be somewhat interesting, in the same way that a game with instant replay is interesting. 1/

Today, I announced that I’m seriously considering running for the U.S. Senate. This is a movement of folks coming together to say we won’t be lied to or ignored by politicians anymore. We’re going to talk about our dreams again.

The most common feedback we hear when canvassing for and the policy differences with the current DA "Sounds like we need to replace her with a democrat!" And our response "She is one. That's why we're building a movement, not just volunteering for a local party"

What is happening to Rodney Reed is barbaric. Yet he is not alone-215 men on DR in TX. Moore and Ogg seeking to uphold death even w. bad forensics and claims of mental health. Travis needs and Harris needs - both promised to put an end to the DP.
