This is not on topic but does anyone know why she has not been charged for this or if she has a broader explanation. Seems 319(1) would apply.
I don’t understand why the ED of the BC Civil Liberties Assoc is calling for violence. Violence and hate don’t appear to be solutions being proposed by Indigenous communities, and it is their voices we should be listening to and respecting on this matterpic.twitter.com/3uLktzz8AS

BC Civil Liberties Assn would have been well familiar with Walia’s public stance on many issues during the hiring process. Therefore the views of the board are reflected in this nihilistic statement. If not, they have a duty to say so.
