I cant see what the problem is, if you can afford one why shouldn't you employ a cleaner. After 40 odd years of keeping house, I think my missus deserves a rest. We dont go on holidays or eat out much so that we can pay for a cleaner

Quite, + living in London, where both parents work, weekends are precious aren’t they. 2(+) hours of cleaning is a significant chunk of one’s ‘waking hours’ on a w/e, so frankly I commend those who have cleaners - they’re job creators after all, and boy do we need job creators.
