Our paper is out in Neuron! We asked how sensorimotor priors come to influence behavior at a neural level. We found that it arises from the geometry of the manifold containing the dynamics. Had a blast working with/learning from , and of course !

Very relatable post on hard-to-pronounce-last-names in academia. My name mixes enough letters that most people won't even try to pronounce it. It did cross my mind that in a field where your name is your brand, I may get penalized. Ironically, Meirhaeghe is just pronounced Merag

Thank you for putting together this thoughtful spotlight. They distilled the key ideas in the paper better than we did!

Master’s thesis work finally posted! We asked how weightlessness affects higher-level spatial abilities like perspective-taking. Grateful to the 🇫🇷 space agency and my former PI, Claudine Mélan in Toulouse, for all the funding, support and fun!

Tomorrow morning , I’ll be presenting some of our latest work with and on how cortical dynamics gets adjusted when animals update their temporal expectations about the environment. Come see how neural manifolds *change* during learning.
