So apparently your voice can be copyright claimed on YouTube. I was testing my mic filters on a private stream and after I was done it got claimed by CD Baby.

To clarify, this isn't something that CD Baby initiated -- this was a mistake with the Content ID matching tool. As soon as they were made aware of the claim, they released it.

Fair enough. I stand by my point though even though it doesn't apply in this case. I hope you manage to fix the Content ID issue.

absolutely, there should be a three strike rule. Three false copyright claims and you get timed out from making any more for a period. Another three and the timeout period increases.

Aye, we need a system that punishes the companies that falsely claim videos, rather than a system that punishes those whose videos have been falsely claimed.
