2/ This week must, or at least should be, for Leavers one of the amazing points in your life. You should be literally fizzing with hundreds of positive ideas of all the things your yearned for Brexit will now enable. But strangely I can’t see anything anywhere.

3/ I look to the Telegraph newspaper - the high priest of Brexit - for inspiration for our wonderful new Brexit future. What do I find? Alister Heath demanding that the EU must collapse for Brexiters (like him) to finally lay euro-skepticism to rest.https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2020/01/29/eurosceptic-mission-will-not-eu-withers-away/ …

4/ And suddenly the penny drops. Brexit is not the point or even the end. Euro-skepticism is. Without euro-skepticism what is the point? What is the philosophy, the rationale, the reward for Leavers? There is none. Where do they go now?

For those that don't know. It's taken the eurosceptics over 40+years targeted advertising media manipulation and corruption of every state institute in order to get brexit narrowly over the line. That's how good an idea it is. (note the supermajority)pic.twitter.com/7M94lMy478

Their dreams are eroding. USA threatening a trade war, Japan telling us to sort out our EU deal first, Australia throwing back our deal, Canada deprioritising UK deal. Austerity will continue, cash bung to London and SE at North's expense. Its going wonderful.

Because they *know* they've been duped but cannot admit it. They voted to rid themselves of a perceived 'elite' but have actually empowered the wealthy charlatans who caused their woes.
-
There isn't a single 'they'... - some were duped and can't admit they were wrong - some see it as completion of a neo con /Thatcher / Joseph free market project - some just hate Europe / immigration - some just voted against the Govt and for an unspecified "change"
