    I have a few thoughts. 1) No racial group has the experience of black Americans and has been as consistently and deeply othered. We should not expect they vote like black folks. 2) Latino racial identity is much more malleable.

    A steady 30% of Latinos vote Republican, even as the GOP president calls Mexican immigrants rapists, separates Latino migrants from their children at the border and tries to reduce immigration overall. Some Ds ask: Why aren't Latinos voting like blacks?
