bitbucket
-
why ew? just asking.
-
Maybe it’s progressed since I last used it, but I remember a fairly clunky github clone with the aesthetics of JIRA, whereas GitLab has done some interesting stuff. On the other hand I did bag my first name
-
i've used bitbucket for a long time now; years and years. mostly because of the unlimited private repos. it's certainly serviceable and, if you do use jira, the integrations are nice.

Jeah. Switch from one centralized company with commercial interests to another centralized company with commercial interests. Those guys are as funny as the people who switch from WhatsApp to Signal/Threema :D
-
I don't understand all the trouble around, too. I don't think that so much will change and I doubt that Microsoft will look into private repositories and steal code (at least out of legal view, maybe GitHub is doing it already for the NSA.. who knows)
-
The problem isn’t MS looking in private repos. The problem is MS is money hungry.
-
That's just a feeling you have though. All the things they do around .NET is totally not money hungry.
-
Well i never used .NET so i can’t make a comment there :P
