This comes from an exclusive interview Arizona "audit liason" Ken Bennett gave to the conspiracy theory website Gateway Pundit, whose proprietor Jim Hoft was banned from Twitter for allegedly attempting to manipulate the results of the 2020 election. archive.is/7OP0L

Ken Bennett apologized in 2012 for embarrassing the state of Arizona by suggesting he would keep Barack Obama off of the ballot over a racist conspiracy theory. Recently, Bennett lied about having done that. But I had receipts.

Bennett is a liar. How do I know? In 2012, I published the emails he exchanged with Hawaii officials while trying to investigate Obama's birth certificate. Then, just as today, he was caving to the conspiracy fringe to "insure the integrity of our ballot." talkingpointsmemo.com/muckraker/emai

Arg. I mistakenly left the ALT text off of the image in the original tweet. So here's the image again with ALT text added.
Screenshot of text that reads:

Jordan: I am also hearing about UV lights. Can you tell us what those are for?

Ken Bennett: The UV lights were part of

their paper evaluation process. They are used to look for watermarks on the ballots and the county elections assure us there are no watermarks on the ballots... That was part of the things they use to evaluate the paper and things I mentioned earlier.

They've been going on about this for at least a week, despite no evidence of watermarks. Do they really think no one thought to check these supposed watermarks for six months? Hysterical.

Apparently they’ve been forced to stop using the uv lights as they’re damaging the ballots, but are now considering some fold detection device. is all over it as is & .

ALL of this is very troubling so today @BrennanCenter joined w/ @civilrightsorg & @protctdemocracy to request that @CivilRights send election monitors to the AZ Coliseum. brennancenter.org/our-work/resea
