@DaveWoodX presumably, but I don't anticipate Apple intends to keep shipping that adaptor long-term. It's a stopgap to ease the transition.

@nicklockwood I have been through probably 50 of them with my kids, and the non MFI certified tend to be junk, so yeah, Apple gets paid.
