The message at the end is powerful - you have a gift! Wish we had a neutral source to read about controversial/debated topics where both sides argue with more data points and sanity and less emotions. Something like a news medium but both perspectives presented side-by-side.

I am pretty sure a recent study confirmed a rule (sorry, no source...): each bird’s trajectory influence the one of its 6 or 7 closest friends. Do you confirm and have you integrated this in your simulation? I like very much your short essay and societal related lessons. Thxs!

Yeah this simulation assumes that each bird is influenced by its n closest neighbors. I think n was around 6. But it doesn't take into account sight lines (a bird is influenced by its neighbors even the neighbor is directly behind it) also thanks for reading :)
