It is extremely common for MPs to share their parliamentary login details with their staff. Seems slightly unfair to vilify @NadineDorries for what is common practice

I certainly do. In fact I often forget my password and have to ask my staff what it is.

Another MP told me something similar on Friday. Personally I see nothing wrong with that, but maybe it's a slow news day...

When you see them, could you please tell them from me that they're too incompetent to serve the public and should retire immediately. Thanks!

hmmm so actually the password is "whatever the hell my staff tells me it is" you better believe there are many international intelligence agencies reading this. Better ask yourself if they would like to know this is the state of your security or not lol

"I often forget my password and have to ask my staff what it is" That's gross incompetence. You're clearly unfit for any leadership role. You should apologize and resign immediately. I am serious.

I think it's bad practice. It was considered gross misconduct at a previous employer. How can you ensure integrity of data, full and proper audit trails etc? If it's your login you're responsible. Allowing others to share your login is a bigger problem than the original one!

Thanks for demonstrating the depth of cyber security ignorance in this country. You're certainly not alone but it's really no excuse in parliament or the BBC. Never, ever share passwords.
