    I was first exposed to when came to the appalachian region to cover some of the work was working the 2016 election reminding Ohioans of 's record as governor. I was incredibly impressed by the even handed nature of the piece. One of (1/2)

    I'd just like to shout out all the local reporters in WV, VA, and NC reporting on the Atlantic Coast and Mountain Valley Pipelines. I've been working on a feature on the ACP for months and my head is constantly spinning with all the changes/new permits/reroutes/etc. PROPS TO YOU.

    I worked at the Cheesecake Factory for three years out of the college and I've also covered riots in Ferguson, Baltimore and D.C. as a reporter and the craziest day of my life was when the Cheesecake Factory I worked at ran a 50 cent slice promotion.
