    If there was a real "national emergency" at our border would the President be sitting alone in the White House sending tweets making fun of people? NO. Because we don't have a national emergency at the border. But we do have a national embarrassment at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

    So sorry to hear the news about Jeff Bozo being taken down by a competitor whose reporting, I understand, is far more accurate than the reporting in his lobbyist newspaper, the Amazon Washington Post. Hopefully the paper will soon be placed in better & more responsible hands!

    The President defended Neo-Nazis who murdered a woman in Charlottesville. The Dept of Justice sued him for not renting to Black tenants. He launched his campaign by calling Mexicans “rapists.” He banned Muslims. The President is racist. And that should make you uncomfortable.

    Ocasio-Cortez called Trump a racist. The White House response may have proven her point.

    Tell me more about how I should be furious at the economic illiteracy of a freshman congresswoman from Queens.

    The United States Treasury has taken in MANY billions of dollars from the Tariffs we are charging China and other countries that have not treated us fairly. In the meantime we are doing well in various Trade Negotiations currently going on. At some point this had to be done!

    Resignation letter is in. February 25 is my last day. This isn't a reflection on my team, it's a reflection on what Google's become over the 11 years I've worked there and on the lack of accountability and oversight leading to poor working conditions for minorities.

    I have found my next job (barring Google suddenly becoming cooperative with the demands)! More details to come when I'm ready to announce!

    Please do not give to the Salvation Army. They’re notoriously homophobic and transphobic. Give to your local, secular soup kitchens, food banks, and shelters instead. They’ll do a better job with the money anyway.

    This happened to me fairly recently, though it was after Google flew me in to speak at a conference. It has really made me reconsider even staying in tech. I'm not sharing details yet but I'm interested to hear from anyone if this happened to you too. DMs are open.

    Google tried to patent somebody's work after a job interview. And they almost succeeded, except that this person had the backing of MIT.
