Male circumcision isn't anywhere near as bad as FGM. They aren't comparable.

FGM is equally as abhorrent. Male circumcision and FGM are also blanket terms for a variety of different mutilations, I’m some cases the kind of male circumcision typical in the USA is worse than some versions of FGM. Obligatory note, not defending any mutilation of genitals.

@briandavidearp if you think male circumcision is not "as bad" as FGM. Also, using the fallacy of relative privation does not negate that we do have to address male circumcision, I am really glad FGM is being vilified and coming to an end & hope the same MC - 1 more reply
