    So grateful to have a team of 294 LHW's and 12 LHS's who have been doing rigorous community surveillance in the ICT, they have visited 70K+ houses and conducted around 70K lectures about safe behaviours. This is pure gold, the data that we hold.

    NIH is an excellent institution. I have high hopes in their leadership in public health. Besides their important role in Covid-19, their ability to manufacture Rabies Vaccine and Snake Anti-venom is increasing and should be able to fulfill all our requirements in a year.

    Shallah Ditta Situation: 7 active cases have been contained in homes and we have responded to the minor emergency to a COVID19. Rest o/t tests have come negative, 100+ tests were run by DHO-ICT Surveillance Teams. No need to panicked, partial lockdowns have worked well in past.

    رمضان میں میری مساجد میں حاضری کا یہ تیسرا روز تھا۔ یہ سب دورے اچانک، مقامی اور مسجد انتظامیہ کو اطلاع دئیے بغیر کیے گئے۔ ہر جگہ سماجی فاصلوں کا خیال رکھا گیا ہے۔ یاد رہے کہ PM سے ملاقات کے دوران صفوں میں 6 فٹ اور نمازیوں کے درمیان 6 فٹ کو کم کر کے 3 فٹ کا فاصلہ طے پا گیا تھا۔

    Surveillance teams closing the day, 12 cases responded and around 86 samples taken/sent to NIH. Teams traced further contacts extended risk communication for houses around cases. A hectic but productive day indeed.

    Thankfully all the test results of the surveillance samples taken by the ICT Surveillance Teams have came negative. We hope rigorous surveillance will work wonders IF: people abide by the rules of prevention and abide by the lockdowns and follow preventive measures.
