    Yep, same with my client (and myself). Even when the advice is so common to have a separate business account. (As I notice on this helpful web page: )

    I have to admit I don't have a separate biz bank account. It seemed silly to have 2 accounts & then just pay myself. But I keep meticulous track of my income and expenses, which is all my CPA said I needed to do. But some people might find that confusing.

    If you look at Money or other magazine profiles about people who went into business for themselves, a *constant* theme is that they must spend their own money and risk not making a profit for a while. (Which makes me go -gulp-.)

    A2. Perhaps that means raising your rates, specializing in a certain area, taking a course to learn new skills, or creating a detailed plan of how you’re going to find new/more/better clients.
