Two floppy drives appear to be connected to different places in the system, and TM (Technical Manual) also suggests they have entirely different purposes. Appears to try to access floppy in right drive at boot, which appears to be cabled to same board as hard drive.

Skimming of TM also suggests right drive can read/write DOS-compatible floppies. Don't know what the left drive does yet. Can hear hard drive spin up (I think), but don't hear obvious head motion.

HD is buried deeply, so I probably won't lay eyes on it tonight. I need to move the device off the clothes washer so I can do laundry. Hey, I said not to judge me!
