Someone would eventually have invented the legal basis of excuse same as conviction, or otherwise codified excuse to prevent success of others within a warning, supervision, segregation, & capital judicial system for offenders aiming to exploit concealment of people in groups.

We might have been ruled by a tyrant who attacked our checks and balances. He'd be above the law. He would have destroyed our free press using propagandists.... Hum, after some thought, maybe you shouldn't be posting this Newt, wrong side of history and all.

Was the war in Europe really our business? We been carrying the Europeans since 1941. How long is enough?

The next "What If?" should be what if you, Newt, didn't ruin American politics by introducing pure hatred and vitriol into the process. You were the worst Speaker in American history with your Contract for America, refusing reach out across the isle and shutting down the Gov.

Interesting to think, but Hitler didn't listen to his general's. If he had taken Moscow instead of Stalingrad when he had the chance. Or if he didn't waste his panzer divisions in Africa. They also advised to reinforce the Normandy beaches. Most would be speaking German.

Why would someone listen to you about history when you don't even get current events right?
