Please make Suboxone easier to get! It's not a cure all, but for the recovering addict, finding a Dr who can prescribe it is difficult and expensive. It's 10$ a pill and and you need 2+ a day. Medicaid only covers it short term...some need long term Suboxone therapy.

Medicaid covers fentanyl and oxycontin, but requires major pre-authorization for Suboxone. Also stop these doctors who give Vicodin fentanyl and oxycontin...I knew a Dr that made a person do work at his house before he would give him a script of Vicodin.

Nothing will change until people stop being embarrassed of admitting they have a substance abuse problem.

We still need more FUNDING for addiction rehab/treatment for those without insurance! It's cheaper to buy heroin than MAT drugs for cravings. 1 month of Suboxone=$600-$1000 per month. Heroin $5-$10 for a fix. Sorry...but some of that $5B "wall" money could help many get clean!!
