Maybe because they ran on thoughtful healthcare reform vs. chaos ("Anything for a tax cut!!!!") and won their own elections? Just a thought.

Maybe because when constituents complain premiums are too high, it makes no sense to get on board with a huge tax cut instead of a solution.
