You of all people know that he is not conducting secret committee hearings. How despicable of you, Newt. You were Speaker of the House. You know that only committee members (from both parties) attend these hearings. How sad you have become.
The Washington Post's motto is ""democracy dies in darkness". By their standard Adam Schiff is killing democracy with secret committee hearings-when will the Post call him to account for killing democracy in his committee?

There are 47 GOP seats on the committees conducting the deposition. Mattie doesn't hold one. All 47 members could be there. House rules and the House Parliamentarian said Gaetz couldn't. Gaetz knew that. This is a planned stunt

Well, Newt, I don’t know about democracy, but justice really takes it in the shorts when witnesses get to hear the testimony of other witnesses before getting to “craft” their testimony. My guess is that you know that, but it just isn’t very convenient for your narrative.
