Would cause same shortages and lack of development in drugs as rent control did for apartments. GOP should be united against this disaster.

We dont allow price gouging with gasoline and don’t have price controls. Same with regulated electricity costs. Utilities are aloud a substantial profit and if they make more, give it back to the customer. Why is drugs uncontrolled? They can make a profit and protect consumers.

There is a government granted monopoly to Pharma. This has nothing to do with free markets.

true. but i think for pragmatic purposes price regulation is a bad idea. and not having those regulations might make it easier to revoke the subsidies.

Can meds available at a "gouge 'em till they drop" mark-up really be considered available? No, this has gone on long enough, Newt. Time to confiscate pharmaceutical executives' assets, forcing their families to start over with nothing.

Newt, I agree with you on a lot of things, but not this, they need to do something about this. Some of these pharmaceutical companies, have bought up patents of other companies and rose up prices as much as 100 times original companies price! This is a rip off!

It’s the never-ending patents that keep drug prices high and competition free
