I don’t know, I want to trust that this is the best play and after @realDonaldTrump is re-elected we’ll see a real plan to get the budget under control. But we’ve been burned on this one so many times.
The Budget and Debt Ceiling Agreement is very good for President Trump and Republicans. National Security is protected. No Democratic leftwing riders on appropriations are permitted. A government shutdown is avoided. This sets the stage for a big choice election in 2020.

Then attack the deficit through budget cuts, and the removal of the federal government intervention in state responsibilities.
