Economics 101. If you increase the costs (labor) you need to cut elsewhere, decrease services and/or raise the price... he can't cut service - he provides none; he has no product to charge more... of course if he gets elected then he can steal the money from some.

His day has passed. It's time to call it a career. Appreciate his service to our country, but the bell is tolling. His ideas were nuts 2.5 years ago and they're still nuts. His mindset is very troubling to say the least.

And THAT is exactly what other businesses will have to do to keep their costs down! So with reduced hours or even reduced staff, raising minimum wages this much does not produce the results expected. Prices could go up raising the cost of living too.
