We were driving back to CA from NOLA after a 2 week vacation with family. My mother was too tired to drive any longer, so we stopped in Los Banos. CA at a tiny motel. Watched the entire thing on a small b&w tv w/rabbit ears. I was 12 yo. Exciting! So glad I have that memory

‘Westinghouse camera’ - I was at my bosses house waiting for my mother to pick me up (I was 15). On TV they said, “...and the camera filming this on the moon was made by Westinghouse...” My bosses wife said, “Oh no! We’ve never had anything made by Westinghouse that worked!” LOL
