We already pay for it when they end up in the ER. Covering everyone is cheaper than what we're doing, but you'd rather pay more just to stick it people you hate for no reason.

We do pay for them. In so many unseen ways. One of our NorCal hospitals takes $25M-$35M per year out of our community to subsidize equal losses in their SoCal hospitals. That is one reason HealthCare is so expensive for the working poor.

I had an accident on the way to the airport to fly home from Mexico. When I entered the terminal, an official offered me wound care in their in-house clinic where they cleaned and dressed my wound, no charge. It’s what civilized countries do.
