In addition... Anyone who's gross income is under $100K should not have to file or pay taxes on any form of income! Period! If we want to help lift the middle and working classes, that's the way to do it!
If President Trump indexes cvapital gains to take the inflation out of paying taxes on investments he will trigger a huge economic boom.When I was Speaker we passed the largest capital gains tax cut in history. It led to a book in the economy and helped balance the budget.

The middle class holds huge positions in public companies in their 401k and IRA accounts. This would be a huge for savers/ planners. Paycheck to paycheck people will not see a benefit but, in my experience, people who live that way will continue to so no matter their income.

The deficit is not from tax cuts; revenues are up. The problem is government spending, which I blame on both parties.
