This is actually quite important Newt. With the global slowdown, we are still the best apples in the basket but we are heading for slowdown as well. Inevitable in economic cycles. We are way to vulnerable to China. Need equal playing field even if it breaks a couple of dishes.

While that statement is very true, we should not be doing this on the backs of consumers and especially not the backs of our farmers!

How else can we do it. Almost need to hit rock bottom before it gets better and unfortunately rock bottom means we as consumers pay the price... and farmers may pay even a bigger price. Are American consumers willing to pay more for goods, we don’t have a choice.
