I agree with that Newt but have you looked at the quality of product offered by Qatar and Emirates compared to US Carriers? There is no comparison. That's why they have gotten my money the last two Summers and once again this Summer.

Qatar, Emirates, Etihad - more or less eliminated all international traffic to & from
