Newt, do you or do you not support capitalism? If the answer to this is "yes, I do", then why should it matter if the Chinese or whoever become "dominant suppliers" to anything? Seriously, either BE a capitalist or don't be one. So confused by you conservatives these days!
You can’t evaluate 5G with an America only focus. If the Chinese through Huawei become the dominant suppliers worldwide the US will operate in a very disadvantageous system with Chinese dominance and Chinese technology. The CTIA-AT&T apologists completely misstate global reality.

Most conservatives are isolationist capitalists. They want free market policies but only in America. They think it's unfair on a global scale, which is what the rest of us have been saying about the potential dangers of free market capitalism for decades.

Newt I used to work with you in the 90’s when I was a lobbyist for Flour. I have now put together a coalition of 40,000 (mostly C-stores) rooftops specifically for the 5G rollout. (Former NACS chair). We market them to the carriers and starting to have success. How can we chat?
