Please don’t compare him to Gates and Jobs. He is not in the same league.

Actually his tweets were a problem for investors in Tesla. He gets to stay on as CEO - I think the settlement amounts to a slap on the wrist. Agree his contributions to society are very valuable. Gov can’t turn the other way when the issue with the tweet was pretty obvious.

Balanced and well-said. Thank you.

Gee Newt, considering that Musk's companies would've all gone bankrupt years ago without billions in government subsidies, and his "420" tweet cost Americans who believed in him billions of hard-earned dollars because they bought stock based on it, that's an impressive statement!

Newt, despite $6B+ in subsidies,
$TSLA has now lost $5B+ since going public. If the government would stop propping up Musk's businesses by taking from the poor to give to the rich, & if he would stop committing fraud, I would be on board with you. -
This has got to be a prank. Newt left himself logged in and some hilarious nephew posted it while Newt was having a nightcap.

Respectively Mr. Speaker securities fraud is securities fraud no matter how creative or innovative someone is. Agree he’s revolutionizing lots of industries for the better but being a publicly traded company executive comes with the responsibility of adhereing to securities laws.
