Thank you for not saying “prayers go out to” Krauthammer & family, as praying “out to” human beings is absurd and futile. Keeping someone in your prayers, however, praying to God for mercy, miracles, salvation, etc., as you suggest, is entirely right and good.
The tragic news that Charles Krauthammer’s cancer has returned saddens everyone who knew him or watched him. He is a remarkable intellect and a stunningly articulate analyst of our times. He and his family are in Callista’s and my prayers.
