Not really, the real metric is whether the user is active and in both of these cases, the user is inactive.

You can still go on the web app from time to time and have uninstalled the native one (my case)

Weird how the media talks about
@facebook as if it’s just the Facebook app / platform. They even mention how misleading their stat is in the key bullets - not including Instagram or Whatsapp or overseas growth...Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

People have been deleting the app to “take a break from Facebook” since the beginning which doesn’t mean your account is deleted. Whoever wrote this is out of touch with social media technology and young people.
